So far we have lavender and wine at Heisson Farms. Or lavender starts and  wine grapes that is, we won't have lavender or wine in full production until 2007.

Currently we have 40 Grosso lavender plants in the ground, and 300 "babies" in the greenhouse for planting next spring. We also have 13 other varieties of lavender under propagation for nursery stock.

In the wine department, we have  small test plots of pinot noir, pinot gris, golden muscat, and Gewurztraminer in the ground now and hope  to add to the collection this winter, especially a few more reds. In time, we may also process the heirloom apples and pears from the historic orchard into hard ciders. Cheers!
